Heaps
Heaps!
Submission for Godot Wild Jam #93!
See how long you can survive the bug hordes! Upgrade yourself to last even longer! The government wants them gone and will pay you handsomely to clear them out! Upgrade your character with endless stacking puzzle-pieces that increase your damage, speed, or even give special effects to your character!
Bug Hunting Tips
- Press ESC to see the controls as well as the pause menu where you can restart the game.
- Shoot bugs! Waves get harder and harder as each wave passes, and waves only pass when all the bugs are dead!
- Get pickups to get new upgrade pieces! Pieces have different types of ends that connect to each other. Yellow pieces can go anywhere! Mix and match to see how many you can fit on!
- Hit E to access your inventory! Drag and drop the pieces onto the piece in the middle to upgrade your character! (Hint: Drop into the yellow area to snap into place! It may give some trouble to snap properly.)
- Survive as long as you can! Waves will start up automatically. Catch a breather before the bugs come back!

Very well-done guys! The puzzle block perk system is super fun and movement feels pretty nice.
